Single Travel

Ok, so as a female, and with due respect, you would be out of your mind to want to travel there in the first place: ever heard of the Shariah? I should think you would need a male travel companion to guide you along (no female ever moves anywhere by herself) while you try to manoeuvre under your new pile of dark clothing. Not the friendliest country for females. Ever thought of France, England or Germany?

first off.. SaudiArabia isnt open for tourism yet.. but if you know someone who is already here, they can request an invite for you to visit them from the embassy.. You can only come to saudi if you are muslim and planning on doing a hajj pilgramage, or a miner pilgramiage called umra.. or if you are a diplomat (like Condeliza Rice or someone coming for that purpose).. or a business women coming with a group for something.. or you married someone here, or some relative or friend invites you in.. otherwise sorry..
and a single female needs to be accompanied by a male guardian, or met at the airport by a male guardian that is sponsoring you here.. or a team of people that are sponsoring you..
Once you are here, you can go out alone,, the above poster might not be aware.. but we have women here that shop and go out alone. thats not a problem.. I myself come and go as I please without my husband.. but still having said this.. sorry, we are not open for tourism
maybe you can visit any of the surrounding countries like Bahrain, Dubai (United Arab Emirates) or Kuwait or Qatar… they still ahve the same customs..

No. There are many travel companies that offer packages for Hajj and Ummrah pilgrimages. You can't participate in this unless you are a Muslim and some people have tried to get in via this way that is a very dumb thing to do. You can go as a journalist but must be approved and have a group or a companion that is related to you as a protector. You can have some luck seeking to visit Jeddah. It is a port city and the rules are somewhat less harsh. Not much but all the above rules apply.

ok , I’m a saudi girl and u can for sure come for a visit even if u were alone !.. yeah we’re different but it doesnt mean that u have to walk around with a man wherever you go , that is so silly lol .. we have normal lives just like ..
its true , we dont have bars or night clubs , dating is illegal .. but we’re fine with it ..

its good to know someone is interested , as far as i know , everyone hates my country .. so you might not like it because its different
