Is Mexico a safe place for a single woman to travel through alone?

Written by admin on February 28th, 2009

Where are the best places to tour in Mexico as a single woman, alone? What's the night life like? What's the temperature in September? What do I need to know about the customs of Mexico? Any port taxes, fees, charges? What about going through customs? What should I know about traveling in Mexico? How much spending money should I carry for a 7 day visit.

well puerto vallarta is a kind of safe place you don't really need lots of money probably like 2000 dollars or more depending if you want to buy lots of stuff.

I don't have anyone to go with and I want to visit the Mediterranean. What are good programs for me to do this so I can be safe as a single woman?

I think you are absolutely safe in Spain, but not in Morocco.
Any Arabic country is safe for a woman traveling alone (unless it is a group trip)

Why are single people who travel with a tour company charged an extra fee?

Written by admin on February 22nd, 2009

I had planned to take a trip to the western part of USA with a travel group and was told I would have to pay $600.00 extra if I went as a single person. Why am I being charged such a fee? If I checked into a Hotel by myself the hotel does not charge me double so I don't buy the extra fee due to accomodations. I truly feel it is because travel companies think single travelers will not spend as much as couples thus they feel they are losing money and tax single people. What do you think? I enjoy traveling alone and should be able to do so w/o going broke.

Your assumptions are correct. It's to make up for the loss of profit.

Where is the best singles travel vacation for 40's female?

Don't know where you live but if possible a trip to Las Vegas would really be fun. 3 nights & 4 days are plenty. I go there every few months and always hook up with others - mostly very nice men and we just have a great time. There is always the opportunity to "take it to the next lever" and that would be your decision. As they say, 'what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.'

There is lots to do and lots to see - I stay on the main strip and always feel very safe. I also travel by myself and do not feel lonely in Vegas or anywhere for that matter.

Wonderful spas and pools - facials, massage - great!

A group of girls will always have a good time in Vegas - you can dress up or down - either way is fun………..enjoy!
